The Problem We’re Solving

Based on interviews with over 70 counselors, administrators, and students, we found that schools have a data problem. Most describe it as burnout, busywork, or limited student support, but at its core, we have found the issue can be traced back to the fact that valuable data is not being collected in standardized ways or is trapped in disconnected systems and unable to be used in ways that help support students.

Manual Work and Burnout
Staff spend long hours on audits, reports, and tracking, leading to record-high burnout, less efficient school operations, and, most importantly, less time to work directly with students.

Decentralized Data Collection
Student information is scattered across SISs, spreadsheets, paper reports, and sticky notes, and is collected inconsistently, leading to incomplete profiles that do not work together.

Limited Student Support Tools
Students have limited access to tools that are tailored to their individual needs and able to provide specific guidance and automation, despite the necessary data being available.

What We Have Heard in Our Interviews…

“Because our student information system is so complex, there are only one or two people who really know how to get information. If anyone else needs a report, it’s like you have to get on their waiting list and hope they can find time to pull it for you.”

— Interview 12

"There are almost no reports in PowerSchool that are easy to run. Their search queries are impossible to understand and use. You have to go to so many different places to try to run things, and then it often still doesn't work.”

— Interview 19

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”

Our Solution

Our Solution

EntryPoint is the first Student Relationship Management (SRM) platform, designed to help schools use data more effectively while reducing time spent on administrative tasks.

The platform supports staff, students, and parents. Staff can automate routine work, students get personalized support for post-grad planning, and parents gain visibility into their child’s progress, all powered by proprietary data collection and usage techniques.

EntryPoint creates value in two main ways:

  1. Time-saving automation for tasks like reporting, tracking, and communication

  2. Personalized support tools that help educators and students make informed decisions

By centralizing data and applying AI, EntryPoint improves efficiency and student outcomes across the board.

Phase One - August 2025

Creating a full SRM would take a year of development… but we aren’t waiting that long! This August, we are releasing the staff-facing tools as a stand-alone product focusing on saving time, reducing manual tasks, and making existing data more useful for school staff.

Phase 1 Features

  • Instantly generate customized reports by pulling and filtering data from your SIS and other systems.

  • Transcribe and summarize student meetings, then automatically update student profiles and records.

  • Centralize key student information in one place, replacing paper binders and disconnected spreadsheets. Early updates will include tools for tracking graduation requirements and running audits, helping staff stay ahead of critical milestones.

Phase Two - Summer 2026

We’re expanding beyond staff tools in Summer 2026 with Phase Two. This update introduces student-facing features that support planning, automate post-grad tasks, and capture meaningful insights. Schools and students will have the information they need to make smarter, more informed decisions.

Phase 2 Features

  • Helps students create credit-aligned graduation plans and explore post-graduation options. The platform guides them through college and career pathways, tracks application tasks, and flags missing requirements.

  • An AI-powered assistant that proactively collects student goals, motivations, and interests through ongoing interactions. This keeps student profiles accurate, up to date, and rich with qualitative insights.

  • Uses a deeper data set to analyze topics like academic strengths and weaknesses, standardized test score predictions, performance trends, best-fit college matches, and more.

 FAQs

  • Yes. EntryPoint is designed to grow alongside schools. Upcoming features include virtual student coaches, automated master scheduling, integrated attendance tracking, and a parent-facing mobile app. We continuously expand the platform based on school needs and user feedback.

  • EntryPoint uses TLS and AES-256 encryption for all data in transit and at rest. User accounts follow NIST 2024 guidelines, with access controlled through row-level security. Our infrastructure is firewalled and includes automated protections like IP blocking after failed login attempts. All data is stored in accordance with FERPA, COPPA, and other applicable student data privacy laws.

  • No. EntryPoint will not replace core systems like your SIS or LMS. However, our goal is to reduce reliance on other legacy data management tools by centralizing information and streamlining key administrative tasks, potentially lowering associated costs.

  • We are still finalizing the pricing for the first version of EntryPoint. Based on early feedback, we estimate the platform generates between five and seven dollars in value per student. However, we plan to charge less than that to ensure schools see a strong return and can adopt the product easily. Our goal is to fulfill our mission of helping students and staff, not to chase maximum profit.
